Varsity Boys Basketball, along with new head coach Michael Broom, defeated the Roosevelt Rough Riders last Friday night with the score of 54-43. The gym was filled with fans from both schools as the rival teams went head-to-head. The energy and excitement of the fans and players kept the gym full and game alive until the last seconds.

It was a close game with the beavers at 25 points and the rough riders at 20 points. But by the end, the Beavers pulled ahead and closed with a win. Beavers’ next game will be against Cleveland high school this Tuesday January 19th at 7:30 p.m.
