Physics and Astronomy teacher Eric Muhs held a meeting after school today providing information about Fulcrum Community Communications, the FM radio startup of which he is president and founder.
Muhs is trying to garner support for Fulcrum within the high school. Specifically, he is asking students to develop programming.
Many at the meeting expressed interest in producing music programming, wherein local and student musicians would play live sets.
Fulcrum does not expect to be broadcasting on their FM frequency this year, because they have yet to install their antenna and other aspects of the broadcasting infrastructure.
Content to be produced by students this year will stream on Fulcrum’s website.
