At the Worlds Championship in St. Louis, Missouri, the FIRST viking robotics team went 10 – 0 in their division but were soon after eliminated in the semifinals by another team with a 10 – 0 record.

“Even though we did really well, Worlds was more of a learning experience than a winning experience,”  Junior Aidan Carey, a member of the robotics team for two years, said. This is only the second year the team has attended the event.

“Our goal is to always be improving,” Craig Nielsen, Project-Lead-The-Way and FIRST robotics coach, said, feeling that they had accomplished their primary goal as a team at Worlds.
